What is cuinasia?
CUINASIA is the First European Conference on Asian Cuisine and Culture, taking place within the "Year of Gastronomy of Barcelona". This international event will present the Asian gastronomy - cooking techiques and ingredients- and its culture via conferences, live culinary demonstrations, tastings and dinners.
 
Who is our audience?
Specialized audience: professional chefs, restaurateurs specialised in Asian cuisine, food industry professionals, food writers, culinary students and gourmets. General public: anyone keen on culture and gastronomy, with a special interest on the diversity and richness of Asian gastronomy.
 
What are our goals?
To leverage the current knowledge- quality and quantity- on Asian gastronomy by offering to the participants didactic and accessible learning on ingredients and cooking techniques. To respond to the need to better understand oriental culture (thinking and philosophy) in a different framework: gastronomy and culture.
